Armenian Eduard Gevorkian, who made
the March 1987 cover of IG, has coached
the Qatari men’s team for four years.
Camelia Mindricel (holding daughter Sabrina) and hus- band Razvan Selariu (far ight), both from Romania, coach the women. Mindricel (left) competed in the early 1990s, while Selariu (above right) competed in the 2004 and ’08 Olympics.
