SHAWN & MARIO
{2008 Olympic balance beam gold medalist Shawn Johnson teamed up with Nintendo star Mario to promote the inaugural Wii Games: Summer2010. The event, which ran from July 16-Aug. 15 in select U.S. cities, was designed to encourage families to get out and exercise. “I play Wii games with my friends and family all the time,” Johnson said prior to the event. “I’m looking for- ward to watching people from all over the country coming together to have fun and compete.” Of course, we already know that Shawn is getting plenty of exercise since she
announced her comeback to competitive gymnastics!
