Danusia, 13, won the AA, bars and beam
at the 2007 British Espoir Championships.
Coached by Vince and Michele Walduck,
and Natalia Ilienko-Jarvis, Danusia likes to
dance, shop and watch TV. “Danusia’s
maturity and composure are phenomenal
for her age,” Vince says. “She produces
every day, in spite of difficulties and circumstances.”

A competitor at Level 8 Regionals last season, Erin, 10, just qualified to the TOPS
National Team. This season she is a Level
9, and her coaches are Ann Kist, Chris
McClain and Elena Oleinik. Erin lives in
Staten Island, and her younger sister and
brother also take gymnastics at Chelsea
Piers. Erin loves the “Rocky” movies, and
she can recite all the lines!
Rachel & Emma Collister
Waverley Advanced Gymnastics, Melbourne, Australia
These twins placed 1st (Emma) and
2nd AA at their State Championships
last season, and split the 4 event titles
at Int’l Level 10 between them. At the
2007 Australian Championships,
Rachel won vault and Emma won bars.
The 12-year-olds are coached by John
Hart and Shaoyi Jiang. They both like
bars best and the band Evermore.
Bart Conner Gymnastics, Norman, Okla.
Connor, 11, is a Level 6 whose favorite
gymnast is Oklahoma Sooner senior
Jonathan Horton. Coached by Dan Rollins,
Connor likes parallel bars and high bar
best, and was inspired to take up gymnastics after watching the 2004 Olympics. He
has two older sisters, two dogs, a parakeet
and a guinea pig. He also plays baseball
and is in the school orchestra.
